At Tipo Boxing Academy, we believe boxing is more than a sport — it is a tool for transformation, hope, and opportunity.

Founded in September 2023 by renowned coach Taiwo Adegbite, popularly known as “Coach Tipo,” the academy was created to provide young people in Lagos with a safe and empowering alternative to the harsh realities of the streets. In communities where many youths face poverty, uncertainty, and the constant pull of crime and violence, Tipo Boxing Academy stands as a sanctuary where discipline replaces despair and purpose overcomes hopelessness.

Through completely free boxing training, mentorship, and character development, we are building champions both inside and outside the ring. Every punch thrown, every training session completed, and every lesson learned is designed to shape stronger, more confident, and focused young individuals prepared for life’s challenges.

Powered by the Pho3nix Foundation, the academy is committed to discovering talent, nurturing potential, and creating pathways for young athletes to compete on global stages — including the Olympic Games.

At Tipo Boxing Academy, we are not just training fighters. We are transforming lives, restoring dreams, and raising the next generation of champions.
